The \"Leader in EGO\" Local Action Group Association is a non-governmental organization operating in one of the most characteristic subregions of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, covering three counties: Ełk, Gołdap and Olecko. Within the EGO area, with a total area of 2,738 km2 and inhabited by over 92,000 people, there are 11 neighboring communes: Ełk, Olecko, Gołdap, Banie Mazurskie, Dubeninki, Prostki, Stare Juchy, Kalinowo, Wieliczki, Świętajno, Kowale Oleckie. The Association Local Action Group \"Leader in EGO\", acting for rural areas, aims to protect and promote the natural environment, landscape and historical and cultural resources. The organization brings together the most active and committed leaders representing three sectors: social, public and economic.
