Centro de Innovación de Infraestructuras Inteligentes, CI3, is a R&D Institute set up in April 2010. It is a non-profit Public-Private partnership between Ferrovial, the University of Alcala and the Regional Government of Castilla La Mancha, with the purpose of becoming a new reference in the innovation in the fields of Information Technologies and Communications associated to Transport, Energy Efficiency (in buildings and cities) and Smart Infrastructures (roads, airports, railways) by developing R&D Projects and providing relevant innovation services to be implemented mainly in Ferrovial.
