Profile
Andrzej Klimek, Ph.D, Master of Architecture graduated from the of Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Engineering, Lodz University of Technology. Since the beginning of 2016 he is employed in Research and Innovation Centre Pro-Akademia as Assistant Professor. His field of scientific interest are interdependencies between social, environmental and economic resources of central and peripheral areas, their exchange between each other, and its dynamics in the global context of sustainable urbanisation. His personal goal is to contribute to mitigation of Urban Heat Island effect by means of dissemination of the green roof retrofitting.
