Many production companies existing on Polish market – not only in the textile industry – relies on a linear structure. The thesis formulated in this article is that in many of them the matrix structure can be introduced. That will improve functioning of the company. In an attempt to justify the thesis case study method was used, which is illustrative here. Consequently, this article became the theoretical and empirical work.
