Abstract
This article aims to analyse the potential of the Lodz Region for the construction of biogas plants, in the context of the position of the Polish government plans in terms of sustainable energy. Interpretation of the results of a survey conducted among entities generating organic waste is given. Article is concluded with recommendations from the study and SWOT analysis of the Lodz region for the formation of biogas.
