Abstract

Hydrogen sulphide is an ubiquitous component of the biogas resulting in the atmospheric pollution and corrosion of the plant equipment. For environmental and technical reasons it should be removed from the biogas prior the further processing. This paper critically reviews the solid sorbents based technologies as applied in the practical biogas plant installations. In the following contribution we will present the wet chemical and biochemical methods.
