Abstract
The purpose of this article is to present the legal aspects related to innovation in renewable energy in Poland. In particular, projects of the Renewable Energy Act and its consequences as well as regulations concerning the protection of intellectual property within patents and inventions in the field of renewable energy are discussed. Polish legislation in the field of renewable energy is compared with German regulatory framework.
