A good Plan is the basis!
The Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP) is a strategic document created by the experts of the Research and Innovation Center Pro-Akademia, which defines the possibility of an energy- and ecology-sustainable development of the commune. The prior aim of the document is the improvement of air quality and comfort of the dwellers’ life.
The plan comprises a diagnosis of the current condition of the energy management in the region and proposals for optimal solutions within the energy economy. The Plan includes specific tasks concerning, e.g., placing Renewable Energy Sources installations in public buildings, thermo-modernization of the buildings and development of low-carbon transport. Also actions in the scope of social education are indicated, such as communications strategy or promotion of low-carbon economy.
An action plan created for the benefit of sustainable energy is a chance for not only improvement of the quality of life in the region, but also increase in the awareness of the decision-makers and dwellers within low-carbon economy. A well-prepared energy strategy enables the communes to increase their chances in applying for domestic and EU funds in the financial perspective for years 2014-2020. We have recently delivered the ready Sustainable Energy Action Plan to the communes of Proszkow and Olkusz. Currently we are working on the Plans for the towns of Zdunska Wola and Konstantynow Lodzki.
