Bioenergy for the Region - summary conference
During meeting that meant to sum-up 12 months of PhD. student’s work within the project “Bioenergy for the Region – Integrated programme for Ph.D. student’s development” young scientists form Technical University of Lodz and University of Lodz presented their work:
• House 2020 and Estate 2020 – project of energy efficient and independent houses and estates;
• Hybrid power plant fueled by biomass, solar and wind energy;
• Potential for energy production from waste and garbage in Lodz Region;
• Solar bag as an textile product with integrated PV cells.
At the meeting representatives of Technical University of Lodz, University of Lodz, Institute of Energy and Marshal’s Office of Lodz were present. PhD. students had chance to present their accomplishments, joint publications, patent submissions as well as prizes and acknowledgments.
Meeting took place on 1st of February 2012 in hall named after Prof. Grundlach in Department of Flow Machinery. It was hosted by Prof. Dorota Kozanecka, who is head of PhD. studies department.
