Economic mission to Bucharest
On November 20-26, 10 members of the Bioenergy for the Region Cluster took part in an economic mission to Bucharest. The event was organized by Research and Innovation Centre Pro-Akademia under the ClusterXchange framework, as part of the SMART4NZEB project.
The economic mission began with a visit to the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Bucharest. Participants learned about the realities of business running in Romania and related aspects, as well as the market expansion, trade, and investment opportunities in Romania. On the second day, the pRO-nZEB Cluster presented the nearly-zero energy buildings market in Romania. A visit to the Building Knowledge Hub allowed the participants to learn about technologies used in energy efficient buildings. Next days allowed for business and networking meetings with partners from Romania. The mission ended with a study visit to the EFdeN Sustainable City, i.e., an exhibition at the Technical University of Construction Bucharest presenting technical solutions that respond to contemporary challenges in the field of climate, energy, and the environment.
The SMART4NZEB project is co-financed by the European Union's COSME Programme and by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Poland
