Researcher from the University of Rovira and Virgili on a doctoral internship at RIC Pro-Akademia
RIC Pro-Akademia welcomes Kandeel Shafique from the University Rovira i Virgili (URV). She will collaborate with us for three months as part of her doctorate and the Biosens4PrecisionMastitis project, which we implement in collaboration with URV and partners from Latvia and Hungary.
Kandeel Shafique completed her bachelor's degree in applied sciences, specializing in biological sciences, at the National University of Sciences and Technology in Pakistan. She continued her education by earning a master's degree in biology at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. Since July 2021, she has been a doctoral student with the Bio-inspired Nanotechnologies Group at URV, working on developing rapid and cost-effective tools for detecting infectious diseases.
Kandeel is distinguished by her interest in innovations and creating bio-inspired solutions for improving animal welfare and wellbeing of humans. She also actively participates in outreach programs and volunteer activities.
Kandeel will be with our organization until December 6 of this year. We invite you to follow the progress of the Biosens4PrecisionMastitis project, which may significantly impact the development of modern diagnostic methods in agriculture and other fields.
This collaboration allows us not only to advance our scientific projects but also to enrich the local and international academic community with new perspectives. It is a valuable step towards sustainable development and improving the healthcare system worldwide.
