RIC Pro-Akademia in the Top 10 Polish beneficiaries of the Horizon 2020 Programme
After 7 years of implementation of the European Union's Horizon 2020 research programme, in the ranking published by the Polish H2020 National Contact Point, we were ranked 8th out of 195 Polish research organizations benefiting from the program in terms of funding per researcher. We obtained funds from the European Commission for research and innovation under 5 international projects in the amount of almost EUR 50,000 for each employed scientist.
Horizon 2020 is the largest research and innovation framework programme in the history of the European Union, implemented in beteen 2014 and 2020. Its total seven-year budget amounted to nearly EUR 80 billion. Co-financing from the programme was received by 195 research organizations from Poland, which implemented / are implementing over 1000 projects, with co-financing of over EUR 350 million.
