Something ends...
Workshops begun with short summary of actions that was undertaken so far, following by presentation of all regions within the partnership and those newly invited. Pro-Akademia was represented by Stanisław Aleksandrow and Monika Staniszewska who underlined role that is played by Bioenergy for the Region Cluster in forming polish Eco-energetic awareness.
Next lecture was held by Mr. Inge Aarhus from Enviromental Foundation Lillehamer. He touched important matter regarding role of innovative networks in developing energetic future of Europe and environmental planning. Last but not least was presentation of Mr Urban Kaiser from MOEZ Fraunhofer institute, who discussed possible ways of European development.
Next part of the workshop was on the subject of possible financing sources dedicated to protect environment of Europe, both European Funds, Norway and EEA grants were mentioned. In this part of the meeting energetic characteristic of northern Hessen was introduced by Mr. Kai Morgenstern from Fraunhofer IBP Kassel. He underlined economic problems that Germany had to deal with during change of energetic profile.
After lunch several discussion panels were carried out, on which participants talked over different problems such as: cooperation between rural and urban areas, necessary legislative changes and problems regarding social acceptance, management, social and economic conditions and climate change.
In the end participants talked about further cooperation in the field of energy independence.
