We are going to the KICkoff gala!
The grand final of the KICkoff competition will take place on 1 December in Cricoteka, in Kraków. A representative of CBI Pro-Akademia will be a member of the competition’s jury.
The purpose of the KICkoff is to choose promising projects devoted to sustainable energy, deriving from the Central and Eastern Europe. Until the end of October, several dozen applications have been submitted and they have been thoroughly verified by the competition’s organiser – KIC InnoEnergy, which supports innovation, entrepreneurship and education in the field of energy.
The inventors of the most promising projects were invited to take part in the second stage of the competition, during which they presented their innovative solutions in front of a regional jury in one of four cities: Gdańsk, Poznań, Kraków and Warsaw. Then, the winners of the semi-finals took part in special workshops which were to prepare them to make an appearance during the festive Finale Gala.
All competition finalists have the opportunity to participate in the KIC InnoEnergy Highway® acceleration program, which will help beginner entrepreneurs to develop their ideas into profitable business. Moreover, the winner of the competition will receive 10 thousand Euro in cash. The runner-up will receive 5 thousand Euro, while the second runner-up – 3 thousand Euro.
The event concluding this year’s KICkoff competition will take place on 1 December in Cricoteka, in Kraków. The competition’s jury will include, among others, the representatives of the National Centre for Research and Development, CBI Pro-Akademia, Lewiatan Business Angels, SpeedUp Group, EDF Polska and EC Grupa. Registration to the Grand Final Gala is still open – it is as easy as filling out the registration form, which is available at the competition’s website. Due to the international nature of the gala, the ceremony will be held in the English language, based on the following program:
