Webinar: Circular economy and legislative changes in the plastics industry

19-11-2024

On 19 November 2024, RIC Pro-Akademia organised a workshop aimed at Polish plastics processing companies on the upcoming legislative changes and opportunities offered by the EU REUSE2030 project. During the event, which took place in an online format, participants had the opportunity to learn about key European Union regulations, including those related to the prevention of plastic granulate losses and the circular economy. RIC Pro-Akademia expert, Dr Maksymilian Kochanski presented practical steps companies can take to comply with the new requirements and avoid financial penalties. One of the highlights of the programme was a presentation of the digital tools offered by the REUSE2030 project, such as the Zero Carbon Tool and the Digital Circular Inventory, supporting companies in optimising resource management and waste reduction. The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where participants were able to explore the issues discussed and share their challenges and experiences. The event was attended by 25 participants - representatives of companies in the SME sector from various regions of Poland.

We invite you to follow our future events on the project website and our social media (LinkedInFacebookX).
